The book
It’s the almanac for the year 2009, with the events of ten, one
hundred, two hundred, three hundred… and more years ago in the lands
of the former Austro-Hungarian coastline.

The author
Alessandro Ambrosi, born 1955 in Gorizia, has been living in Trieste since
the age of two. A freelance journalist, he has published and edited several
books. He is also a bookseller with a passion for studying cartography,
popular and local traditions with a special interest in the land areas
along the Italian oriental border and their link to the past.
